In 2015 I traveled through Central Iran for 3 weeks. From Isphahan via Kermanshah on the Irak border to Kashan, Yazd en Kerman along the deserts Dasht-e Kavir en Dasht-e Lut, and from there we crossed the Zagros mountains to Shiraz and back to Isphahan, visiting Persepolis on the way.
Iran is a fabulous country in terms of culture and hospitality of the people and it has overwelming cityies and breathtaking landscapes.
