Marokko is a fascinating country with beautiful cities, a large range of different landscapes and a hartwarming hospitality.
I spent some days in Marakesh, sleeping in one of the majestic Riad’s with it’s peaceful patio with a pool en big plants. From there I drove by car over the Hight Atlas to the South, where I travelled through Wadi Dades with its gorgeous kashba’s and the green, fertile Draa Valley all the way South to Mhamid, on the edge of the Sahara. There I enjoyed some days at the Taragalte musicfestival where Tuaregs and other etnic groups are playing there traditional music. But there is much more such as camelraces, excursions to the desert (by camel if you wish so) and all day long you can join nomadic families in their tents to drink tea.
